Cancellation Policy
To secure your event date, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking. The remaining 80% balance is due two weeks prior to the event date. Please note the following cancellation terms:
- If cancelled more than two weeks prior to the event date: Only the initial 20% deposit will be retained.
- If cancelled less than two weeks before the event date: The full amount (100% of the event fee) will be retained, as arrangements and resources will have been committed.
This policy helps us ensure quality service by allowing sufficient preparation time for your event. Thank you for understanding.

We specialise in smaller, intimate events. Our standard table and chairs and picnic table each seat up to 10 guests.
We can use both these tables at once, which works well as an adult table for 10 and a kids' table lower to the ground.
However, if you have the space and your own extra furniture to provide, we may be able to accommodate more.
No, we started as an event styling business first. We love hosting and setting up beautiful tablescapes. You are more than welcome to use an alternate caterer.
However, Poppy Events & Styling now offers grazing boards and platters for picnics, sweet and savoury treats for tea parties, and custom-designed cakes and cupcakes.
We offer a range of table decor which we are still building upon, including florals, table settings, linen napkins, chiffon table runners, tea sets and more. We can customise our decor to match your event theme and colour scheme. As we are still starting out let us know what you are wanting and we will try our best to source it for you.
We are involved as much or as little as you require. Usually we have the table and styling set up ready before your guests arrive. This may include our table and chairs or your own furniture. We also pre-set the food ready for your guest arrival. Hot food can be put aside for you to bring out later on if you wish. We come back once the event concludes or the next day to take away our items.
Poppy Events & Styling does not supply alcohol. As the event will either be in your home or in a public park we do not supply alcohol. However, if it is there on the day, we will provide appropriate glassware and have it ready for you and your guests to enjoy.
